Dinar & Dirham

Harga tetap same walaupun zaman dah berlalu 1400tahun lepas. Inflasi sifar. Kalau kat Malaysia, harga nasi lemak dulu 10sen je, time mak ayah aku lah. Time aku dulu 50sen. Sekarang, yang Rm10 pon ade. Jangan nak pelik. Jadi, dari sinilah emas dan perak dijadikan penyimpan nilai yang unggul.

Daripada sini, aku pon teringin lah nak simpan dinar ni. Survery harga dinar, memang mahal. Dalam 400-500ringgit. Tapi ade juga yang dinarnya murah. 100dinar bersamaan Rm160. kalau tak silap aku Ni dinar Iraq. Memang jatuh sekarang, tapi ade yang bajet dinar ni naik harganya selepas askar U.S keluar dari Iraq. Kalau harganya naik, memang kaya lah. Pelaburan yang menjadi. So, mungkin aku akan invest duit lebihan kepada dinar ni. Tapi duit tak menternak. Huhu. Wallahualam.

Part 2: DSLR lens

In previous part, i've talked about the major specification that will affect the price of one lens. So here, again i will talk about the minor specification (extra feature) that could affect the lens. These extra features are important based on the what type of lens that you want. Features that i'm talking about are:

Silent Autofocus
Silent auto-focus is useable for photographer that want to capture the wild life. They need a silent lens zoom. When the lens focusing on the subject, they eliminate the noise of grinding. Thus, it create a silent focus.Basically, this feature is commonly known as Ultra sonic motor (USM) and Hyper sonic focus (HSF).

Full time manual focus
Usually, when we do need to use Manual focus, we have to switch it on. But here, there are special lens that no need to switch on the Manual focus. These types of lens also have ability to focus automatically, but still, you can adjust with manual focus.

Internal zoom
When the lens focus form wide angle to telephoto, the lens-which have external zoom, will increase the length. However, with internal zoom, the lens's length didn't change. The advantage of internal zoom are these lens focusing faster and smooth compare to external zoom. These lens also does not effect the balance of camera when standing on tripod.

Image stabilization
Maybe some of you did notice about this one. In Canon, it's known as Image stabilisation (IS) while in Nikon, it commonly known as Vibration reduction (VR), With this feature, the blurry picture can be eliminate thus creation clear shot.

Superior optic
Some of the lens are created with special optic adjustment for distortion, reduce flare and stray light from the lens. As a result, it produce image with maximum clarity. It have different name, for example, Canon branded it with 'L' while Nikon are branded with 'ED'.Anyhow, these lens usually expensive at the market.
So, let me try some example:
From the description, this have silent autofocus system (AF-S), then ED is reffer to superior optic, and VR for vibration reduction. The focal length is 18-200mm which is wide angle to telephoto. No wonder the price is high.

Part 1: DSLR lens

Last topic was discussed on what is Dslr and now, dslr lens. If we ask photographer, what make picture gorgeous and give us some excited mode? The answer is, Lens and technique. Technique is definitely required time to built, you need to learn and learn on it. Every single snap is worth . But lens, it need money, of course, to buy it. If we type lens in Amazon search box, for example, various type of lens come out which have different price. What  spec make huge different in lens price? I will talk about these differents.

Manufacturer
Lens are not interchangeable. Canon lens can be use on Canon camera and Nikon lens also can be used on Nikon. Unless third party lens manufacturer can be used on these camera. For example, Tokina and Tamron. Even same spec of lens, the price are still differ. This is due to the quality of lens produce by different manufacturer. Let me put some example.
IF you compare these 2 lens, both have similar maximum aperture (f/1.8),have same focal length and both are prime lens. But the quality are different. You can search in the internet and in some megazine, they rate both lens. From what i read, Nikon len on the right give high quality of picture. So, thats why the price is different.

Focal length
There are 4 type of lens which are, wide angle lens, standard lens, telephoto lens and super telephoto lens. Each have different price. Each of these lens have own focal length. For    example, Wide angle lens cover from 28mm to lower, standard lens cover from 35mm-85mm. Each of this have different effect on picture and different style of photography. To prove this, i give you each of these lens price. Each of these lens have different price depend on the focal length as you can see.Even the maximum aperture is almost same, the price is still different.
Prime Lens vs Zoom lens

Prime lens is the lens that have only one focal length, for example in the Manufacturer part. Zoom lens is the lens that have specific focal length for example in the Focal length part. How these different in price? Basically, the prime lens have advantage in high quality, it dont weight a lot and it not expensive. You can compare the example that i'v put in. The price are different.

DSLR-Digital Single Len Reflex

Finally, i found it!!. A totally-good-website for me that give some informations about DSLR. It started when i  read one part from that website on how to choose lens that suitable for our photography style. It caught my intention. After i finished it, i searched another informations on the same website on how to pick up a super-extra-power DSLR camera. Luckily! i found it. 4 steps to pick a DSLR. I will tell u briefly what these steps are.
  1. In the 1st step, it is good to find out which photography style you are. What i mean here is, what type of picture that u would like to snap. There are action and sport, portrait, landscape, macro, low light, travel, indoor and spontaneous. These are important to identified because it will guide u to pick correct features of DSLR camera that suitable with our style. In these step, i choose landscape, low light and travel.
  2. This step is basically about how the DSLR function, what is DSLR stand for. It is quiet lame to know all these since you can get it from wikipedia. Unfortunately, it is a useful information since you get involve in these photography world.
  3. In this part, the writer discuss about the term used in this world such as megapixel, ISO, dust control, image stabilization, autofocus, continuous drive etc. Nothing much on this step. It's just information.
  4. Last step, the writer give camera features that suitable according to photography style. This step require comparison between manufacturer to chose which one is suit. But, for me, i already have two choice! D90 and D5000 already in my mind, but which one? I already made my mind. Just go for D90.
The website that i read is : Digital SLR Guide

Waiting for D90 in middle of 2010!!!
